EU Council President Michel: More pressure on Russia

PENTAGON: Russian troops have entrenched themselves on the banks of the Dnipro

2 o’clock: After the recapture of the city of Cherson by Ukraine, the US Department of Defense expects Russian troops to entrench themselves on the opposite east bank of the Dnipro River. A senior Pentagon official insisted Monday that thousands of Russian troops are on the east side of the river. “Our current assessment is that they want to keep this area under their control.” Currently there is no evidence that Ukrainian units have crossed the river.

Sunak pledged continued support for Ukraine

Ukraine reports thousands of abducted children
