Putin helps Russian soldier families with crates of vegetables

Vladimir Putin sent hundreds of thousands of reservists to the front, leaving their families behind. There should be a curious compensation for this as a recording from a Russian state television show.

The war in Ukraine is not going well for Vladimir Putin, with his troops being pushed back east and south. To change that, the Russian president said he drafted about 300,000 reservists and sent them to the front.

This causes protests, as families worry about their loved ones. Reservists also lack income from their regular jobs. Report pending compensation payments. The mayor of the city of Yakutsk now has a bizarre proposal for it.

You can find out how the vegetable boxes are supposed to help Russian reservist families, what financial aid is available for victims, and how Russian soldiers are fighting back in the video above or directly here.
