Four days after the first defeat in the Champions League, THW Kiel is back on the road to success in the Handball Bundesliga. The German record champions prevailed at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf with 29:27 (15:13) and thus returned to the top of the table.
After a long balanced duel from the north, the Schleswig-Holsteiners decided the game with an increase in performance in the last ten minutes. In the premier class, the zebras had to admit defeat to the Slovenian champions RK Celje with 36:38.
The day before, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen had won the top game against SG Flensburg-Handewitt after a show of strength 28:27 (14:13) and also celebrated their fifth league victory of the season. SG (7:3), on the other hand, suffered their first defeat of the season and dropped points for the second time after the draw against Füchse Berlin (31:31).
