Jude Bellingham (19) from Borussia Dortmund is the only legionnaire in the English squad for the World Cup in Qatar. National team manager Gareth Southgate called up a no surprise squad led by captain Harry Kane, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling on Thursday.
Because Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan) and Tammy Abraham (AS Roma) are not part of the team, unlike in September against Germany (3: 3), 25 of the 26 players play for Premier League clubs. England will face Iran (November 21), USA (November 25) and Wales (November 29) at the World Cup.
England’s World Cup squad:
Goal: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Nick Pope (Newcastle United)
Defense: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Conor Coady (Everton), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Ben White (Arsenal) , Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United), Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
