Inter Milan celebrated their third win in a row in a spectacular game in their race to catch up in the Italian Serie A.
FC Bayern Munich’s Champions League opponents at AC Florenz won 4: 3 (2: 1) with a goal by ex-Dortmund player Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the fifth minute of added time and moved up to seventh place with 21 points.
Former Frankfurt player Luka Jovic equalized for Fiorentina in the 90th minute with his second goal of the season to make it 3:3. Mkhitaryan, who arrived from Rome in the summer, finally scored for Inter in the league for the first time – the guests had previously led 2-0 and 3-2. National player Robin Gosens came on in the 67th minute.
Inter’s city rivals Milan had previously won their home game against SSD Monza 4-1 (2-0) and drew level with leaders SSC Napoli on points for at least one day.
Brahim Diaz braced, Divock Origi and Rafael Leão scored for champions Milan. Filippo Ranocchia reduced the lead to 3-1 for Monza.
