Record champions Juventus Turin had already managed a liberation on Saturday. In the city derby against FC Turin, the old lady won 1-0 (0-0). In the second half, Dusan Vlahovic (75th) redeemed his team with his goal. The goalscorer pushed a Danilo header over the line from close range.
After the surprising 2-0 defeat in the Champions League at Maccabi Haifa during the week, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri had scheduled a penalty training camp. After just one win from five league games, the pressure on the Italian coach had grown.
