Former Bayern Munich defender Tanguy Nianzou (20) dreams of a return to Paris-Saint Germain. “As a child of Paris, that’s always a goal. It’s up to me to develop and one day reach the level of Paris,” he said L’Equipe.
Nianzou comes from the youth of PSG, but after 13 professional appearances he switched to FC Bayern on a free transfer in 2020. Also because of recurring injury problems, he did not prevail in Munich. This summer he moved on to FC Sevilla for 16 million euros, but FC Bayern secured various buyback options.
However, he does not regret the step to FC Bayern: “Like every footballer, I was disappointed, everyone wants to play. But it improved my mentality. Today I am prepared for every situation. FC Bayern made me grow. It helped me mentally .”
At Sevilla, Nianzou started the season four times in a row. Most recently, he only came off the bench twice and was not used at all once.
