Carlos Soler comes from Valencia for 20 million euros

Paris Saint-Germain are about to sign Spanish international Carlos Soler. According to information from SPOX and GOAL, those responsible for PSG have agreed with Soler’s club FC Valencia on a transfer fee of 20 million euros. The 25-year-old is scheduled to complete his medical check-up on Wednesday, after which the deal will be finalised.

With Soler, a figurehead is leaving Valencia. The right-footed player has been playing for the traditional club since 2004 and is actually a fixture in coach Gennaro Gattuso’s team. However, Valencia are plagued by financial problems that made it necessary to sell Soler a year before his contract expired.

Soler will be part of a completely renewed midfield center at PSG. The French champions parted ways with Ander Herrera (Bilbao) this summer and Idrissa Gueye is out, according to a report by the L’Equipe immediately before a return to Everton FC. Vitinha (Sporting) and Renato Sanches (Lille) have already come.

In addition, the transfer of Soler’s compatriot Fabián Ruiz was made perfect on Tuesday evening. He moves from Napoli to the Seine for a fee of 23 million euros. Ruiz signed a contract that runs until 2027.
