According to the Spanish Sports FC Barcelona and Manchester United are currently discussing a possible swap deal. Accordingly, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to join the Camp Nou as he doesn’t seem to have a future under Erik ten Hag, while Sergiño Dest would join the Red Devils.
According to the report, ten Hag would be in favor of Dest signing as he has previously worked with the 21-year-old at Ajax Amsterdam. Dest’s market value is currently 18 million euros, while Wan-Bissaka, who once joined United for 55 million euros, has a market value of 25 million euros.
In the talks between the two clubs, the names Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong were reportedly also discussed. De Jong has been the desired transfer from the English record champions for weeks, but the Dutchman should not be able to imagine moving to Old Trafford.
According to media reports, Depay is also on the sales list for the Catalans, which is why Manchester United is apparently considering bringing the Dutchman back. The 28-year-old already went on the hunt for goals in Manchester from 2015 to 2017.
