Maxi Kleber and Dallas Mavericks apparently agree to contract extension

The Dallas Mavericks and Maxi Kleber have apparently agreed to a contract extension. This is reported by Shams Charania The Athletic.

Consequently, the 30-year-old’s contract, which expires next year, will be extended for three years until the 2025/26 season. The deal is said to be in the final stages.

According to the report, the German national team player, who canceled the basketball championship in his own country, also has a princely salary, which should amount to 33 million dollars for the three years.

Kleber was a fixture with the Mavs last season (59 games). He averaged seven points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting 39.8 percent from the field.
